He graduated with a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Communication Engineering) from Addis Ababa University in 2008. Experienced in network engineering, planning, design, optimization, and project management, he has led the implementation of telecom infrastructure projects. His expertise lies in designing and rolling out projects across various telecom network segments, including RAN (Radio Access Network), Mobile Core Network, FAN (Fixed Access Network), Microwave Transport Network, IP-RAN/IPBH Network, Optical Backbone Network, Indoor Network Design, Telecom Power Solutions, and Telecom Towers. He led complex telecom expansion projects in a multi-vendor environment, deploying over 4000 new mobile sites to deliver network capacity for 36 million subscribers. In recent years, he has explored telecom marketing and operator licensing. He is also a certified training facilitator for telecom training programs, with expertise in conceptual telecom courses, RAN, Mobile Core network, Indoor network design, Strategy, Business Process Framework implementation (eTOM), and Project Planning (e.g., PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management). Moreover, he has more than 15 international research publications related to the telecom industry. With 18 years of professional experience, including roles at Ethiopia Air Force, INSA, and ZTE, his focus has primarily been on telecom operators' network design in complex projects, notably at ethio-telecom.
